About the Role
What You’ll Do:
-Assist with event setup and teardown (tables, materials, signage, displays)
-Greet and support guests at Creative Community Gatherings, Community Markets, and Pop-Up Events
-Facilitate hands-on activities and help participants engage with crafts and kits
-Support prep/design days: assembling kits, organizing materials, and assisting with marketing/design projects
-Monitor and restock supplies during events
-Keep spaces clean and organized
-Communicate any issues or supply needs to the lead
Hours & Pay:
-Flexible: assistants apply for specific opportunities that fit their schedules
-Paid a small stipend for each opportunity (typically $12–$25/hour, depending on event type)
-Apply once to join the Assistant Team—no reapplying for every event

Fill out the Sanded Treasure Event & Creative Assistant Application Form on our website. Once selected, you’ll be added to our Assistant Pool and contacted as new opportunities become available. You can accept or decline based on your availability.
Requirements
Must be 17 years or older
Friendly, professional, and welcoming attitude
Comfortable working with children, families, and community members
Able to follow detailed instructions and SOPs
Reliable and able to commit to scheduled opportunities
Flexible and adaptable for varying event types and times
Occasionally help transport Sanded Treasure supplies to and from events; having access to a vehicle is highly encouraged (not required, but strongly suggested for timely arrival and flexibility).
